Accompanist

“For over a decade, I have composed and performed music for dance choreographies and classes. Emphasizing multi-instrumental improvisation, I produce music and moods inspired by creative movement. Primarily I play both the Drums and the Piano and typically I perform on both instruments simultaneously. This allows me to produce music with elements of rhythm, melody and harmony while playing solo. I am also an experienced ensemble player for dance contexts. I collaborate with professional dancers, instructors and students for a variety of styles including Modern, Contemporary, Ballet and World dance genres. I also accompany Graham and Limon techniques and meditative work. With my strong communication and collaborative skills I am able to effectively work with instructors and choreographers alike.”
